Yes. The InVision is designed to fit through 36" doorways, does not require a clean room or special venting, it plugs directly into a standard wall outlet, as well as a 10/100 ethernet network.

Do I receive the latest software upgrades for free?
A.
Yes, while the InVision is under a service contract (Warranty) all software upgrades are free.

Q.
How easy is it, to build a part?
A. Once your 3D file is saved in the STL (stereolithography) format. It is very easy; Open the InVision print client software, select your stl file, position or add other files if necessary, then select "submit".

I have never heard of this 3D printer before, is this a new brand, is it reliable?
A.
Although it was released to the public recently, it is manufactured by the inventor and pioneer of Stereolithography, 3D Systems. The InVision has been under development for several years and has been extensively tested in the field for over a year.

The InVision utilizes an extremely dependable technology (similar to your inkjet printer) that is capable of speeds and resolutions, equal to or better than, equipment 5 times it's price.

How difficult is it to post process parts (remove support)?
A.
Surprisingly simple. A $29 crock pot or a low temperature oven can be used to melt away the wax support structures, wipe the excess wax with a paper towel and your done. It can take as little as a few minutes.

Q.
How much material can the InVision hold?
A.
The InVision holds up to 8 lbs of model and 8 lbs of support material at all times. You can add material while it's building, simply by sliding 1 lb. cartridges into it's easy access front bay.

Is the InVision fast?
A.
